Terms and Conditions
- Membership to the Ethiopian Cultural Centre (Henceforth ECC) only enables use of facilities of ECC under the Patronship of Embassy of The Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia.
- The membership is “at will” and at the absolute discretion of the management of the ECC. Any violation/ indiscipline would entail immediate cancellation. ECC reserves the right of admission of any guests whatsoever.
- Entry to the ECC is reserved for members only and on presentation of the valid membership card.
- Members can bring a maximum of 5 (five) guests. All guests must show a valid Photo ID Card to the security at the main entrance.
- Membership cards are non-transferable and cannot be used by anyone other than the card holder.
- ECC creates a “guest – host” relationship of no consumerism involved, with its members.
- Change of address, email ID and loss of membership card has to be immediately reported to the ECC. A new membership card can be issued on a written request for a duplicate one.
- Members, as a special case may apply for prior permission to the Director of ECC for bringing in more than five guests. Such requests need to be emailed with detailed prior information at least one day in advance. The decision of the Director, on a case-to-case basis, will be binding.
- Visitors, Members and guests are requested to take care of their personal belongings inside the premises of ECC. The Ethiopian Cultural Centre regrets its inability to take responsibility for losses and thefts.
- As enhanced security measure, all visitors, members and guests are requested to get their bags and other belongings checked at the main entrance security. As well as to cooperate with the guards on duty for possible frisking.
- Members, Visitors and Guests may please take note that all children entering the premises of the Cultural Centre must be under the constant supervision of a parent or an adult guardian duly authorized by a parent. This Cultural Centre and its staff take NO responsibility in case of any injury or harm that occurs to the children resulting from negligence in the supervision.
- Pets are not allowed inside the premises.
